Nickel UNS N02200 Plates operate exceptionally well under reducing conditions but can also be used in oxidizing conditions due to the formation of a passive oxide film.
Nickel UNS N02200 Plates are highly resistant to numerous reducing chemicals, have superior resistance to caustic alkalies, high electrical conductivity superior resistance to corrosion to distilled and fresh waters, Resistance to neutral and alkaline salt solutions, outstanding resistance to dry fluorine and can be widely used to handle caustic soda, excellent thermal, electrical and magnetostrictive characteristics. Nickel Alloy 201 Plates offer some resistance to hydrochloric and sulfuric acids at moderate temperatures and concentrations.
