It is called Carbon Steel because the content of niobium, chromium, molybdenum, nickel, tungsten, vanadium cobalt, titanium, and zirconium is not specified.
The copper content should also be 0.40% of the total weight of the alloy. Buttweld pipe Fittings have a high carbon content. This high carbon content makes it hard and stronger when exposed to heat treatment. It also results in less ductility. Carbon Steel A234 WPB Pipe Fitting are available in many different forms such as Elbows, Tees, Reducers, Pipe Tee, Cross and Stub end. Carbon Steel are produced in three different types which are low-carbon steel, high carbon steel and high tensile steels. Due to the low carbon content, these pipe fittings are malleable and ductile but offer a low tensile strength.
