Nickel UNS N02200 Pipes display outstanding features like exceptional resistance in several corrosive environments including hydrofluoric acid and alkalis. Nickel Alloy 200 Pipes function exceptionally well under reducing conditions but can also be used in oxidizing conditions due to the formation of a passive oxide film.
Nickel 200 Pipes are highly resistant to various reducing chemicals, have excellent resistance to caustic alkalies, high electrical conductivity exceptional corrosion resistance to distilled and fresh waters, Resistance to neutral and alkaline salt solutions, exceptional resistance to dry fluorine and can be largely used to handle caustic soda, superior thermal, electrical and magnetostrictive characteristics. Nickel Alloy 2.4066 Pipes provide some resistance to hydrochloric and sulfuric acids at moderate temperatures and concentrations.
Nickel 2.4066 Pipes are used in numerous industrial application like Breweries, Marine and offshore engineering, Caustic handling equipment, Manufacture and handling of sodium hydroxide, particularly at temperatures above 300 degrees F, Aerospace and Missile Components, power generation, caustic evaporators, etc.
