Nickel 2.4066 Pipes perform extremely well under reducing conditions and can also be utilized in oxidizing environments due to the formation of a passive oxide film.
Nickel 2.4068 Pipes are highly resistant to various reducing chemicals, have excellent resistance to caustic alkalies, high electrical conductivity outstanding corrosion resistance to distilled and fresh waters, Resistance to neutral and alkaline salt solutions, outstanding resistance to dry fluorine and can be largely used to handle caustic soda, excellent thermal, electrical and magnetostrictive characteristics. Nickel Alloy 201 Pipes offer some resistance to hydrochloric and sulfuric acids at moderate temperatures and concentrations.
Nickel 201 Pipes are used in various industrial application like Breweries, Seawater Applications, Caustic handling equipment, Manufacture and handling of sodium hydroxide, particularly at temperatures above 300 degrees F, Aerospace and Missile Components, power generation, synthetic fiber production, etc.
