Nickel UNS N02201 Pipes show outstanding characteristics like exceptional resistance in many corrosive conditions including hydrofluoric acid and alkalis. Nickel Alloy UNS N02200 Pipes operate exceptionally well under reducing conditions but can also be utilized in oxidizing environments due to the formation of a passive oxide film.
Nickel 200 Pipes are highly immune to various reducing chemicals, have exceptional resistance to caustic alkalies, high electrical conductivity excellent corrosion resistance to distilled and natural waters, Resistance to neutral and alkaline salt solutions, superior resistance to dry fluorine and can be widely used to handle caustic soda, outstanding thermal, electrical and magnetostrictive properties. Nickel UNS N02201 Pipes offer some resistance to hydrochloric and sulfuric acids at modest temperatures and concentrations.
Nickel 200 Pipes are used in various industrial application like Food processing equipment, Marine and offshore engineering, Caustic handling equipment, Manufacture and handling of sodium hydroxide, particularly at temperatures above 300 degrees F, Chemical and Petrochemical Processing, electronic and electroplating components, synthetic fiber production, etc.
