Kalikund Steel & Engg. Co. is a renowned provider of 4130 Pipe Fittings & Flanges in Muscat, Oman. 4130 is an extensively used common alloy steel. 4130 steel is chromium-molybdenum alloy steel with low carbon content. It has a density of 7.85 g/cm3 (0.284 lb. /in3) and is heat-treated for firmness.
It’s outstanding welding steel that can be welded using any commercial technique and can be machined in its normal form. Applications for 4130 steel alloy consists of pressurized gas cylinders, firearm parts, and clutch components, all of which require good strength and accuracy while being light-weighted and machinable.
As AISI 4130 is a steel grade with good formability and ductility, it can be used to make a variety of AISI 4130 Fittings, including straight tees, reducing tees, long-radius elbows, 3R elbows, caps, and reducers. This low alloy steel, which has a normal carbon content of 0.3 percent, a chromium content of 1%, and molybdenum content of 0.2 percent, is also commonly used in oil field projects.
This low alloy steel’s content is a through-hardening alloy with commendable adaptability in the annealed state. Since chromium and molybdenum are used as reinforcing agents in this low alloyed steel, the AISI 4130 Pipe Fittings & Flanges have great machinability, power, fracture toughness, and long life.
