After the solution has been annealed at 1020 – 1100° C, it is water quenched. Additionally, it is strong and durable. Alloy 2.4816 Sheets has a thick, permanent, passivating oxide on its surface when heated. This coating formed on the metal’s surface protects it from further damage.
