Nickel Alloy 201 Plates exhibit exceptional features like excellent resistance in many corrosive environments including hydrofluoric acid and alkalis. Nickel Alloy UNS N02200 Plates function exceptionally well under reducing conditions but can also be used in oxidizing conditions due to the formation of a passive oxide film.
Nickel Alloy 2.4066 Plates are highly resistant to numerous reducing chemicals, have exceptional resistance to caustic alkalies, high electrical conductivity exceptional resistance to corrosion to distilled and fresh waters, Resistance to neutral and alkaline salt solutions, excellent resistance to dry fluorine and can be widely used to handle caustic soda, outstanding thermal, electrical and magnetostrictive properties. Nickel Alloy 201 Plates provide some resistance to hydrochloric and sulfuric acids at moderate temperatures and concentrations.
Nickel 201 Plates are used in a wide range of industrial application like Breweries, Marine and offshore engineering, Caustic handling equipment, Manufacture and handling of sodium hydroxide, particularly at temperatures above 300 degrees F, Aerospace and Missile Components, electronic and electroplating components, synthetic fiber production, etc.
